I have no idea if this is of interest or not. Anyway I am going to describe. Not least because this ploy helps me to avoid
redundant Photoshop operations.
With every shot I'm trying to take pictures with a background which is as black as possible and a shell which is as bright as possible.
Unfortunately, the background is always illuminated and therefore appears gray and not black.
It does not matter which (black) material I use - whether Molton, cardboard or glass, everything fades to gray. There had to be a solution,
which looks finally like this:
I place the spots...
take a trash bin with a centered threaded rod...
some magnetic fitting pieces...
and pick a suitable attachment...
for the shell.
Then I make the shots...
sometimes with reflector...
sometimes without reflector...
it depends.
